Sustainability
Solidpack's mission is the continuous sustainability of its products and production processes. This is shown by making conscious choices during the manufacture and assembly of Solidpack's products. The company's mission statement is: "We want to hand the earth to the next generation in a way that its desires and needs can also be fulfilled."
Solidpack's products are durable, assembled from waste paper and a beautiful example of waste recycling. The company currently conducts research in other waste retrieval areas, such as the agricultural industry.
The entire management of Solidpack is focussed at realising "zero waste" production. The company strives to reduce the emission of fossil CO2. Solidpack's own water filtering system makes sure that used process water returns cleaned to the natural environment. The reuse of waste paper as base material for production ensures the reduction of paper waste in our environment.
Solidpack also considers improvement of supply chain management a key issue. The results can be seen in the reduction of material used for packaging - without loss of functionality - and the use of pallets to store cargo more efficiently per transport. Optimalisation of the distribution program leads to a quicker and better-organized service to clients, ultimately resulting in less physical movements of goods. |
